Infor has announced Infor Data Migration Accelerators to help customers securely transition from on-premise to cloud deployments with ease. With Infor Data Migration Accelerators, customers are able to minimize the risks of migrating to a cloud deployment, while still reaping the benefits of increased flexibility, agility and robust security. Infor Services has aligned with BackOffice Associates, a worldwide leader in information governance and data modernization solutions, to help customers manage one of the most critical assets – data. The Accelerators, powered by BackOffice Associates, will be available through Infor Services and will initially service four product areas, Infor M3, LN, S3 and enterprise asset management (EAM). Also available through Infor Services will be the Infor Enterprise Data Stewardship Platform, which can manage information governance across the enterprise. Data migration is a considerable task, and for many CIOs, worries over the complexity can prevent companies from achieving the benefits of a modern, cloud-based infrastructure.

As a cloud first company, Infor recognized the need for customers to undertake the transition with minimal risk for disruption or inaccuracies to the vast amounts of data involved. Similar to Infor Implementation Accelerators, this portfolio of data migration tools are purposefully designed to address the challenges that prevent customers from taking advantage of the considerable benefits of moving mission-critical applications to the cloud, including increased flexibility, agility, and security as well as seamless upgrades with fewer disruptions.
