Important Security Updates

Apple TV: Apple has released version 7.2.1 for Apple TV to fix at least 24 vulnerabilities, some of which are highly critical, reported in previous versions. Updates are available through the device or Apple’s website.

Piriform Ccleaner: Piriform has released version 5.15.5513 for CCleaner. Updates are available from Piriform’s website.

LastPass for Windows: LastPass has released version 4.1.2 of LastPass for Windows. Updates are available from the LastPass website.

Opera: Opera has released version 35.0.2066.82. Updates are available from within the browser or from Opera’s website.

Java SE 8 Update 73 [Citadel recommends removing or disabling Java from your browser. Java is a major source of cyber criminal exploits. It is not needed for most internet browsing. If you have a particular web site that requires Java, Citadel recommends using a two-browser approach to minimize risk. If you normally browse the Web with Firefox, for example, disable the Java plugin in Firefox and use an alternative browser — such as Chrome, IE9, Safari, etc — with Java enabled to browse only the sites that require it.]

Cisco Multiple Products: Cisco reports patched vulnerabilities in its Cisco ACE 4710 Application Control Engine running A5 software releases up to A5(3.0). Apply updates. Cisco also reports unpatched vulnerabilities in its Cisco Nexus 2000 Series Fabric Extenders and FirePOWER Management Center versions 5.x and 6.0.0.x. No workarounds are available. McAfee Multiple Products: McAfee has released security updates and partial fixes for its Active Response (MAR), Agent 5.x (MA), Data Exchange Layer (DXL), Data Loss Prevention Endpoint (DLPe), Device Control (MDC), Endpoint Security (ENS) 10.0, Host Intrusion Prevention Service (Host IPS) 8.0, and VirusScan Enterprise 8.8.
